Madeleine (“Maddy”) is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Brown, Neri, Smith, and Khan, LLP.
Madeleine received her J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where she was an Articles Editor for the UC Irvine Law Review. During her 1L summer, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable John A. Kronstadt of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. While at UCI Law, Madeleine participated in multiple pro bono and public interest projects and gained clinical experience through the UCI Immigrant Rights Clinic and the Small Business & Startup Clinic. She worked as a summer associate at Brown, Neri, Smith & Khan, LLP before rejoining the firm full-time.
Madeleine received her B.A. in English, with a Minor in Political Economy, from UC Berkeley, graduating with high honors. Before pursuing law, she taught fifth- and sixth-grade English Language Arts in Oakland, California.
