Tom Rickeman has more than a decade of experience as a litigator. He has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts throughout the country, as well as in arbitration tribunals. Tom has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in lawsuits spanning a broad range of issues, including antitrust matters, trade secret claims, civil RICO disputes, corporate governance matters, healthcare fraud, and general commercial disputes. He has represented clients in numerous industries, including entertainment, media, healthcare, transportation, and sports, among others. He has a lengthy record of successfully taking cases from inception through trial and appeal, handling all aspects of the case along the way. He has also advised clients that are under investigation by government and regulatory agencies.
Tom received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, graduating in the top 10% of his class. After graduation he worked as a law clerk to the Honorable Margaret M. Morrow in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He then worked for many years at Latham & Watkins LLP, handling complex business litigation matters on behalf of numerous Fortune 500 companies.
