Jacqueline J. Kessel is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Brown, Neri, Smith & Khan, LLP.
Jacqueline received her J.D. from Pepperdine University, Caruso School of Law, where she was the Editor-in-Chief of the Pepperdine Law Review. She received her B.A. from the University of Michigan in Economics, with a minor in Spanish.
Prior to joining Brown, Neri, Smith & Khan, LLP, full-time, Jacqueline worked as a summer associate at the firm. During law school, she also worked on the in-house counsel team at Delta Galil Industries, where she supported contract review, compliance, and risk-management for cross-border operations.
Prior to law school, Jacqueline served as a Teach For America Corps member in the San Francisco Bay Area.
While attending the University of Michigan, Jacqueline worked at the American Bankers Association in Washington, D.C., where she supported policy analysis for federal banking regulation and examined emerging issues in banking, including the use of artificial intelligence in fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and customer due diligence.
